FAQ
How long does the photoshoot take?
Making sure your place of business is staged prior to the photoshoot is necessary. Once our virtual tour photographer arrives on location the photoshoo will take 1 -2 hours to capture all digital content.
What happens after the photoshoot.
After the photoshoot our photographer will upload all digital assets to our production team. For the next several days our team will be stitching all panaramas together with our inhouse PanoStitch produce which also included minor Photoshop work, removal of tripod and color correction. After all virtual assets are created we then ingest into Google Maps Street View platform and start building out your virtual tour.
Where can my virtual tour show up at?
Google provides a url and ifrmae code for each virtual tour. We provide integrations with Facebook, Google My Business and any other platforms upon request. Including your virtual tour in email signatures and embedding within your website is highly suggested.
What if I need to reshoot after my 12 month contract.
If you need to reshoot your location after your 12 month contract then you can simply choose which program you want to join and start a new 12 month contract.
I own a store that needs updates based on monthly/quarterly remodels.
There are scenarios such as a clothing store where seasonal remodels take place. To make it a win-win scenario we need to determine how many photoshoots need to take place in a year and customize monthly pricing to suit such needs. Alternative solutions can be paying for services in one payment versus monthly to satisfy needs.
What exactly is a custom tour and hotspots?
Having a virtual tour on Google Maps is good practice. We can also take a virtual tour and upgrade it and eseentially make it a sales funnel. Easier navigation can be achieved through the use of a custom menu that links to desired areas and we can also add hotspots. For hotspots we can add any rich media including video and photos along with text, links to your website and simple html content. Having a custom tour will help channel your traffic to appropriate pages on your website or simply provide more content for each user resulting in longer dwell times. For example a bar may want to have a hotspot for their local brews each quarter or a fitness club may want to have training videos for their exercise equipment.
Why is there on going monthly charge for custom tours?
When having a custom tour we use Google’s Street View API services. This results in paying for each API call on a monthly basis. To be honest its very cheap in the long run on a pay-per-click scenario and quite honestly, we have never had once customer complain about having thousands of views in a month. To us that is considered successful marketing.
